The present anthology entitled The Shades of
Floating Muses is like a basket of blooming flowers of pleasant fragrances
and colours. It contains diverse themes which are deeply concerned with social
and ecological issues of the modern time. It also works as a channel to bring
both the budding and experienced poets and poetesses, hailing from different
states of India, together and share their innovative and constructive creative
writings with the passionate readers of different tastes and backgrounds. It
serves as an effective means of spreading the humanly wisdom of unity,
brotherhood and harmony amongst the social masses residing in different parts
of the world. I am sure that the versatile readers would gain boundless joy and
wisdom embarking on the voyage of an enchanting world of poems. With these
